Prospective Tenants

2. Identify your group – we let to groups of friends.
3. Submit your details on the property page.
4. We will contact you to arrange a viewing.
5. Come along to view the house.
6. OFFER PROCESS: We invite each group to make their best offer by the deadline given. Please consider your offer, and consult your parent or guardian before offering. They will need to guarantee your offer.
7. Download the Student Crib offer form (the link to download is at the bottom of this page).
8. Bid on one or more properties - indicate your preferred options in order on the form.
9. Your offer will include high speed broadband. You have the option of including all your utility bills. Please refer to the rent calculator to see the effect this has on your weekly rent.
10. Email us a completed offer form. We will accept the highest offer, subject to the offer form being complete.
11. The successful group will be notified the next working day.
12. Transfer £200 as a group holding deposit into our PayPal account within 48hrs of notification. This will secure the group exclusivity for 7 days.
13. Within these 7 days the group need to return to us a signed tenancy agreement (joint agreement signed by all tenants), signed guarantor forms for each tenant and all deposits need to be paid (cleared funds) by cheque or transferred into Student Cribs bank account.
14. If everything is received within 7 days, £190 of the holding deposit will be returned to the payee (£10 will be deducted for transfer and administration fees) and congratulations - the Crib is yours.
15. If the above target is not met within 7 days, the house will be put back on the market and Student Cribs will retain the £200 holding deposit.
