Where do students live in Newcastle?
With over 50,000 students, this city is packed full of exciting places to go to and to live in. Newcastle University and Northumbria University students live in fairly similar areas, but there are slight differences due to the location of the campuses. If you are a Newcastle student will find most students tend to live in Jesmond, Heaton and Fenham, all areas packed full of shops, bars and restaurants. Northumbria students tend to settle in the city centre and Sandyford, where there is a wide range of restaurants and bars to visit. Fortunately, this city has excellent transport networks so wherever you end up living, you will never be far from campus and all the best student nightlife. Our Student Cribs in Newcastle are located just a short walk away from both University's campuses and Newcastle city centre, making it the ideal place to live for all students.
When does the student house hunting season start in Newcastle?
The student house hunting season in Newcastle starts in November and carries on all the way through until April, peaking again in February, however, our Cribs don't last long, so make an enquiry early before it's too late!
