Other areas that students tend to flock to are; Gunwharf Quays, Fratton, Old Portsmouth, Buckland and Copnor. Luckily with the very good rail and bus transport on the Portsea Island, you will never be more than a bus ride away from the city centre and campus.

When does the student house hunting season start in Portsmouth?
The house hunting season in Portsmouth starts in November and carries on until Christmas. Student house hunting season picks up again in January with most houses gone by March.
