Rent Release Competition – Win £2000 (02/09/2026 – 31/10/2026)

This competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom, aged 18 or over.

The first stage of this competition will commence at 10:00 AM BST on the 2nd September 2026 and all entries will not be counted after 00:00 UK time on the 31st October 2026 (the closing date).

The winner will be notified via email no later than the 30th November 2026 at 18:00 UK time.

The winner, who is awarded £2000, will be the individual who refers the most individuals to sign up to the Student Cribs Rent Release 2026 by the closing date, at least 50% of whom must sign up using a .ac.uk email address.

All entries will be authenticated as unique using an IP address checker prior to awarding the prize.

The winner will be notified by the email address provided in the Rent Release sign up and must claim their prize within 7 days of the announcement.

The winner will be contacted via email and asked to provide proof of current student status before their prize can be claimed. Failure to provide satisfactory proof within the claim period will result in forfeiture of the prize.

If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse.

The winner agrees that their name be used in a post when announcing that they have won.

Tenant Referral Campaign (12/01/2026 – 31/06/2026)

This scheme is open exclusively to current Student Cribs tenants, defined as those with a fully countersigned contract for the 2025/2026 or 2026/2027 academic year.

Tenants will receive £200 cash for each successful referral where a friend books a Student Cribs property for the 2026/2027 academic year.

Tenants will receive £500 cash for each successful referral where a friend books a Student Cribs property in Huddersfield for the 2026/2027 academic year.

For this offer to apply, the referee must be a student in the 2026/2027 academic year, paid a holding retainer and be contracted (defined as being in receipt of a fully countersigned contract for the academic year 2026/2027) between 12/01/2026 – 31/05/2026.

The referee must be a new and unique prospective tenant, meaning they were not already in our CRM system from the 1st August 2024 and they are not already a current (2025/2026) or future (2026/2027) tenant. If the prospect was already in our system from this date, the referral fee will not be due.

The referee must notify Student Cribs of who referred them (Full name) at the point of paying the holding retainer. If Student Cribs is not informed of the referral at this point, the reward may not be claimed by the referrer.

Student Cribs must be notified via the referred field: “Were you referred by someone else other than a Student Cribs team member(s)” (‘name of tenant’) on the online payment platform: https://payments.student-cribs.com

In the event of a referee dropping out of their contract, the award may not be claimed by the referrer.

Payment details:
The cashback will be paid to the tenant(s) within four weeks of the group’s tenancy start date. To receive payment, eligible tenants must email tenancy@student-cribs.com with their bank details when requested. Proof of payment can be provided upon request.

Eligibility Conditions

The group must have paid the holding retainer and obtained a fully countersigned tenancy agreement for a 60 Greaves Road or 3 Gladstone Terrace for the 2026/27 academic year between 20/02/2026 and 31/07/2026.

Tenants will receive £500 cash when they renew their Student Cribs property Edinburgh and Huddersfield for the 2026/2027 academic year.

For this offer to apply, the tenant must be a student in the 2025/2026 academic year, paid a holding retainer and be contracted (defined as being in receipt of a fully countersigned contract for the academic year 2026/2027) between 03/03/2026 – 31/05/2026)

This competition is open exclusively to individuals who have received an SMS invitation to participate from Student Cribs.

To be eligible, entrants must have viewed a Student Cribs property in Leicester or Nottingham.

Entries must be submitted by 16th June 2026. Any entries received after this date will not be valid.

One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries and notified via email from the @student-cribs.com domain. If the winner does not respond within 5 days of notification, Student Cribs reserves the right to select a new winner at random.

The prize is £200 cash, awarded to the selected winner upon verification of eligibility.
