Rent Release 2023 (2024 / 25 Tenancies)
This competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom, aged 18 or over.
The first stage of this competition will commence at 10:00 AM BST on the 1st September 2023 and all entries will not be counted after 12:00 midday UK time on the 13th October 2023 (the closing date).
The winner(s) will be notified via email no later than than the 30th November 2023 at 18:00 UK time.
The first prize winner who is awarded £1000 will be the individual who refers the most individuals to sign up to the Student Cribs Rent Release 2023 by the closing date, at least 50% of whom must sign up using a .ac.uk email address.
The second place winner who is awarded £250 will be the individual who refers the second most individuals to sign up to the Student Cribs Rent Release 2023 by the closing date, at least 50% of whom must sign up using a .ac.uk email address.
The third place winner (s) who is awarded £50 will be the individual who refers the third to five (inclusive) most individuals to sign up to the Student Cribs Rent Release 2023 by the closing date, at least 50% of whom must sign up using a .ac.uk email address.
There will be 5 third place winners.
All entries will be authenticated as unique using an IP address checker prior to awarding the prize.
The winners will be notified by the email address provided in the Rent Release sign up and must claim their prize within 7 days of the announcement.
If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse.
The winners agree that their name be used in a post when announcing that they have won.
Student Cribs reserve the right to alter the competition and rent release dates, including the closing date, at any point during the time that the competition is live.
These terms and conditions are governed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
By entering this competition each entrant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Current (2023/24) Tenant Referral Campaign (08.03.2023 – 30.09.2023)
This scheme is open exclusively to current Student Cribs tenants, defined as having a fully countersigned contract for 2023/24. Tenants will be rewarded £200 cash if they refer a friend to Student Cribs and they book a property / room in Newcastle, Huddersfield, Leicester, Exeter, Nottingham, Portsmouth, Liverpool, Leeds, Stoke-on-Trent, Swansea, Lancaster or Keele for 2023/24.
For this offer to apply, the referee must have paid a holding retainer and be contracted (defined as being in receipt of a fully countersigned contract for the academic year 2023/24) between 8th March 2023 and 30th September 2023.
The referee must be a new and unique prospective tenant, meaning they were not already in our CRM system from the 1st August 2022. If the prospect was already in our system from this date, the referral fee will not be due.
The referee must notify Student Cribs of who referred them (Full name) at the point of paying the holding retainer. If Student Cribs is not informed of the referral at this point, the reward may not be claimed by the referrer.
Student Cribs must be notified via the referred field (‘name of tenant’) on the online payment platform (https://payments.student-cribs.com/)
In the event of a referee dropping out of their contract, the award may not be claimed by the referrer.
Student Cribs reserve the right to alter the closing date at any point during the time that this offer is live.
